KAI CHARITY OPEN MEETING
OK for those of you who dont know, we lost our brave little triplet boy on June 14th 2005 aged just 11mnths. Every year since then on the 14th June we have held a charity event to raise money for two charities that we support, the Guys Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and the Ronald McDonald House where we stayed as a family for 9 months totally free right next to the hospital.
For the last 4 years our events have been based around cars but this year unexpectedly we have had to make a change last minute.
So we are now holding this Open Meeting on the 13th June 2010 at Deangate Ridge Athetlcs Track and EVERY SINGLE PENNY raised on the day from your Entry Fees and other things we have going on will be split between the charities. Every year we have managed to raise around the £2000 mark so hopefully we can beat that this year with your help.

Rebel Athletics Training Aids
In our attempts to increase performance in young athletes nationwide we are currently developing several NEW training aids that will hopefully assist athletes in pursuit of technical precision and training.
Without giving away too much one is an Iphone and Blackberry App that will be incredibly useful to all track athletes. Another is a more physical version of the iPhone App.
We are also designing an arm correction device to stop young athletes crossing their arms when running and it will instill a natural form to their arm movements.

Entries now filling up for the Sprint Xtreme Event.
We are very please to see the entry list filling up very nicely for the Sprint Xtreme Event at Lee Valley. The names of the GB and Pro Athletes is increasing and we shall list all the Xtreme Athletes in the program with a profile available at the event which will also include an GB Athlete Autograph Area as well.

Rebel Athletics Clothing Range
We are currently busy designing a range of T Shirts for specific Rebel Events as well as General Rebel Athletics Signature T Shirts. These will be available initially at the Sprint Xtreme Event and then on specific Rebel Events.

SPRINT XTREME !!!!
20th March 2010 at Lee Valley Athletics Centre
Everybody is Welcome. Anybody can run and You do not need to be part of a club or pre qualify or have competed before.
There will be the following events :-
U13 Girls - 60m U13 Boys - 60m U15 Girls - 60m U15 Boys - 60m U17 Boys - 60m U17 Girls
60m Senior Women (17+) - 60m Senior Men (17+)
200m U13 Girls - 200m U13 Boys - 200m U15 Girls - 200m U15 Boys - 200m U17 Girls - 200m U17 Boys
200m Senior Women (17+) - 200m Senior Men (17+)
400m U13 Girls - 400m U13 Boys - 400m U15 Girls - 400m U15 Boys - 400m U17 Girls - 400m 17 Boys
400m Elite Women (17+) 400m Elite Men (17+)
We will be using Electronic Timing and Photo Finish !!!
PRIZES AND MONEY
All the finals up to the U17's will receive Prizes and Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each final.
The Xtreme Finals for both Men and Women will received prize Money
of
1st = £500 2nd = £200 and 3rd = £100
in each final.
Entry is £5.00 per event and entrance .
Entries will need to be submitted by the 10th March 2010.
We are also hoping that some of the Lee Valley Indoor Records will be broken too.
And we are trying to get extra Prizes/Money for Records Broken !!!!
On the evening there will also be a few added extras to again change the dynamics of an athletics meeting and make it Fun, Fast and Fantastic.

The event will be run using UKA Rules as a guidline. All officiated by UKA Officials.
